We read the work of the C14th Kashmiri mystic poet, Lal Ded, translated for Penguin Classics by Ranjit Hoskote, and introduced in Ledbury by the multi award-winning poet and novelist of Welsh and Gujuarati descent, Tishani Doshi. The great Welsh Language poet, Menna Elfyn, celebrates Eluned Phillips, subject of her biography Absolute Optimist, the radical C20th Welsh- language poet, friend of Dylan Thomas and Pablo Picasso, and the only woman to have won the Crown at the National Eisteddfod twice.
