26. Sam Lee: Folk Songs

Sun 2 Jul 2023
8:00pm - 9:00pm | Community Hall - Event has now taken place.

Join Sam Lee for a very special evening of folk songs which look at the old traditional ways of telling the story of nature and our relationship to it.

Folk singer, conservationist, song collector, broadcaster and activist, Sam Lee plays a unique role in the British music scene, breaking boundaries between folk and contemporary music. His latest critically acclaimed album, Old Wow, is truly compelling. His book The Nightingale, Notes on a Songbird tells the epic tale of this highly endangered bird and their place in culture, folksong, music and literature.
