The Box of Delights at The RSC Review by Heidi Udell

The story is about a young orphan boy called Kay who is given a small wooden box with powers unmatchable. He finds himself in a situation involving two well-known Magicians and he has to fight to save not just himself but all the loved ones around him.

The production is set in 1935, midlands, United Kingdom.

I really enjoyed the production. The actors had a credible talent and really brought the story to life. The start the story was slow to begin with but it soon grabbed your attention as a member of the audience. The use of lighting and music created a surreal atmosphere that really felt like you were a part of the story line.
